Welcome to Mearns Kirk, an ancient church in the midst of a modern thriving suburb of Glasgow.

I am so glad that you have ‘logged-on’ and I hope that you find our website interesting and informative.

We are a congregation of some 800 people and part of the Church of Scotland, Scotland’s national Church. Here in the Mearns we seek to offer a place of worship to which people can come and discover something of what it means to live with a faith in Jesus Christ.

We see ourselves very much as a Church for people who have not arrived but who are on the way, journeying with the faith they have, being supported and loved by the people who make up the Church family. It is our hope that anyone and everyone will find a welcome, and experience more and more of the love of God made known in Jesus Christ.

We are a Church conscious of our heritage and tradition but very aware also of moving into God’s future and having to change that we might embrace what lies ahead.
