1st Mearns Brownie Pack

Any girl over the age of seven can become a Brownie Guide. Each girl works in a small group called a Six, giving her a group of ready-made friends, and making her feel that she belongs to something special.

Brownie Guides have fun! Their meetings are full of great activities and there are opportunities for them to learn new skills and to discover how to be part of a team. Brownies can earn badges for doing their best to meet special challenges.

Interested?  Our Brownie pack meets on Thursdays between 6 pm and 7.30 pm.

Guides

Guides are usually between the ages of 10 and 14 and work together in Patrols, which contain four to eight girls.

Being a Guide is all about belonging to a group, learning new skills, making new friends and helping others. Guides are encouraged to achieve their own personal goals through a progressive programme with the opportunity to work for a wide variety of badges which allows the girl to mature and develop at her own pace.

Interested?  Our Guide Company meets on Thursdays 7.30 pm – 9 pm.
