Choir:
An important part of our worship service is music. Performing introits and anthems, as well as leading the whole congregation as we sing our praises to God, is the Choir. Led by our organist, the Choir brings the joy of music into our worship each Sunday.
If you have a talent for music or just like singing then why not consider joining them for their practice any Thursday evening at 7.30pm. Our rehearsals commence after the summer break on Thursday 9 September in the New Hall. We would be really delighted to welcome any new members on a Thursday evening so if you would like to be part of a really friendly group please come along Contact: Doris Watson, Organist
Woman's Guild:
The Guild meets on alternate Wednesdays at 7.30 pm in the Church Hall. Our new 2010/2011 session starts on Wednesday 8 September. Why not come along and give the Guild a try? Our syllabus is varied and interesting and you will be made very welcome whatever your age.
Wednesday 8 September Bring & Buy Sale followed by tea, home baking and catch up time. We look forward to seeing all old and some new members. If you are kind enough to be donating goods for the Bring & Buy Sale, please could you price your items to save time on the night.

Badminton Club:
Ladies meet on Tuesday and Friday morning between 10.15 am and 12 noon,
Interested? Why not come along and join? New members will be made most welcome.

Keep Fit Group:
The Keep Fit Group meets every Thursday in the Church Hall. There is exercise, music and movement suitable for all ages. Everyone is welcome. We restart our class on Thursday 2 September 2010 at 10.00 a.m.
Friendship Club:
Meets on alternate Tuesdays @ 1:45 pm.
The Friendship Club enjoys half an hour of music, humour and subjects of topical interest followed by afternoon tea and chat with friends. Occasional outings are also provided if required. If you enjoy sharing fellowship with others please come along and join us.
For anyone who would like to come along and needs transport, we do have a mini bus pick up in the local area and one or two car drivers who are willing to pick up people who feel they couldn’t manage the mini bus.
Our new session starts on Tuesday 14 September when we look forward to seeing our existing members and welcoming any new members.

Ladies’ Walking Group
The Walking Group is for the benefit of ladies from Mearns Kirk. Due to safety issues, the number of walkers is limited to 15. Ladies may bring one friend if there is space. All walks start at 2pm from the Church car park
